DANNY MCMANN OF WEST COXSACKIE,

along with his wife, Jen, has been volunteering with Sidewalk Warriors for two years. The group of volunteers meets Thursday nights in Troy to serve meals and beverages and give out pantry items and personal care products for those experiencing food insecurity or homelessness. He often cooks and provides hot meals himself. Seeing the need for eggs, milk and bread, he began supplying those with his own money or using donations from neighbors, family and friends. The past few years, he and his wife have dressed as Santa and Mrs. Claus to distribute gift baskets to residents at a local senior living facility.
