Superintelligence
Carol Peters (McCarthy) lives a perfectly ordinary life. It sometimes seems as though nothing exciting will ever happen, but then one day her home network system begins interacting with her in the voice of her favorite celebrity, James Corden. The super-intelligent being is great: it erases Carol’s student debt, deposits $10 million into her bank account and even gets her back with her ex-boyfriend, George (Cannavale). Everything appears to be going Carol’s way until the AI’s real intentions come to light — one of which is destroying humankind. Now Carol has to convince her James Corden sound-alike that the human race is really worth saving.

In a futuristic Hong Kong, an assassin named Jack (Kwanten) meets an alluring nightclub singer named April (Nguyen). Bergman begins to unearth dark secrets from Jack’s past and comes face to face with his own murky past in the process. As their connection tightens, Jack and April struggle for a relationship in a nearly loveless world where extinction is on the horizon.
