Spring 5K run for autism is May 15

SCHENECTADY — The Autism Society Greater Hudson Region will host its Hero 5K at 9:30 a.m. May 15 at the Mohawk Harbor.

The event will raise awareness and funds for autistic individuals and families.

One in 44 children is now diagnosed with autism. .

The society helps members of the autism community with sensoryfriendly events, life coaching, vital information and referral services.

Registration is $30 in advance, $35 the day of the race.
