Greek festival returns May 13

ALBANY — The 50th annual Saint Sophia Greek Festival will be held Friday through Sunday, May 13-15 at Saint Sophia Greek Orthodox Church, 440 Whitehall Road.

It will feature foods and desserts, the Agora marketplace featuring 20 vendors, music, dancing and tours of the sanctuary offering information about the church and icons.

Hours will be 6 to 10 p.m. Friday, noon to 10 p.m. Saturday and noon to 6 p.m. Sunday. Admission is $5, children younger than 12 are free. Additional parking will be available at Center for Disability Services, 314 S.Manning Blvd. with free shuttle to the festival.
