Richardson, Martha E.

LATHAM — Martha Elizabeth Richardson, 90, passed away peacefully on Friday, April 29, 2022, at Shaker Place Nursing and Rehabilitation with her loving family by her side.

She was a resident of the Capital District for all of her life. She worked at Shaker High School for over 40 years as a clerical worker.

Marti was the daughter of the late Jacob and Mary Gailor. Marti was the devoted wife to the late Harold D. Richardson.

Marti was a member of the Troy Women’s Club for seven years, the UMW Women’s Club, United Methodist Women’s Club for five years and the Calvary Methodist Church.

Marti enjoyed playing games with her friends, loved making and painting ceramics and spending time with her family.

In addition to her parents and her husband she was predeceased by her brothers, Richard C. and Robert Gailor; and her daughter-in-law, Terri M. Richardson.

Marti is survived by her children, Mark A. Richardson, and Lynn M. Winne.
