Tirino, Giovanni "John"

ALBANY — Giovanni "John" Tirino, 85 of Albany, passed away on May 10, 2022, with his loving family by his side.

John was born on September 6, 1936, to Pasquale and Elvira Viglione Tirino in Cervinara, Avellino, Italy and soon after, the family made their permanent residence in Airola, Benevento, Italy.

John emigrated to the United States as a young man in the late 1950s and worked as a mason for over 50 years. He was also an active member for more than 50 years in the Laborers Union of North America Local 190.

John was an avid fisherman, a talented wine maker and a quintessential gardener. He enjoyed Sunday dinners with his family and
