Alert: Missing Persons Unit FOX, 8 p.m. New Series
Making a special premiere tonight before moving to its regular Monday evening time slot starting tomorrow, this drama that follows members of the Philadelphia Police Department’s Missing Persons Unit comes from executive producers Jamie Foxx and John Eisendrath (The Blacklist). Each episode features a life-or-death search for a missing person that runs alongside police officers Jason Grant (Scott Caan) and his ex-wife Nikki Batista’s (Dania Ramirez) series-long quest to find the truth about their own longlost son.

Giuliani: What Happened to America’s Mayor?
CNN, 9 p.m. New Series
This four-part series looks into how Rudy Giuliani, the man some considered a hero in his role as New York City mayor in the aftermath of 9/11, became a key architect of President Donald Trump’s election conspiracies. Weaving together a rich tapestry of archival footage and illuminating interviews with influential friends and former colleagues from his multidecade career, the revealing series goes behind the scenes to witness Giuliani’s operatic life of victories and defeats from his heyday at the Southern District of New York to his mayoralty and key role in the Trump administration. All Creatures Great and Small
PBS, 9 p.m. Season Premiere
Season Three of this charming adaptation of veterinarian James Herriot’s bestselling memoirs picks up in the spring of 1939 as James (Nicholas Ralph) and Helen (Rachel Shenton) prepare to walk down the aisle, and a missing ring is just one of the snags they face. With a new stake in the business, James is trying to expand the veterinary practice by joining a government program to test for tuberculosis in cattle, but the initiative is looked upon with suspicion by local farmers.
NCIS: Los Angeles CBS, 9:30 p.m.
NCIS investigates a shootout on a boat in which a rare cultural artifact is stolen in the new episode “Blood Bank.”
