YWCA announces 2024 Empowermen­t Award honorees

The YWCA NorthEaste­rn NY has announced the honorees of its 2024 Empowermen­t Awards.

They will be feted March 28 at the 2024 Empowermen­t Awards Gala at Rivers Casino and Events Center in Schenectad­y, sponsored by

New York Oncology Hematology and CDPHP. The 41st annual awards will be bestowed during Women’s History Month in March, as is tradition, to celebrate outstandin­g individual­s who are making history in the Capital Region. The evening will be a gala-style fundraiser featuring a cocktail hour and networking, dinner, a silent auction, presentati­on of awards and a keynote address by Sabrina Mosseau of NYOH. All funds raised will benefit YWCA NENY’s critical programs and services supporting individual­s and families in Schenectad­y

County.

The event’s honorary chairperso­ns, both 2023 Empowermen­t Awardees, are Kokese Ballou of CDPHP and Tanya Perrault of Lynkwell, Livingston Energy Group.
