25th Annual Capital Region Best Mom finalists announced
The City of Albany and St. Peter’s Health Partners are proud to recognize compassionate mothers in the Capital Region as part of the 25th Annual Capital Region Best Mom of the Year Contest. The contest celebrates mothers who are committed to their families and communities while serving as positive role models and touching the lives of those around them.
The five finalists are Amanda Beedle, Mary Reyers Brusoe, Judy Krakower, Lisa Miller, and Lyndy Sanger. Chad O’Hara from B95.5 Albany Broadcasting will introduce Albany Mayor Kathy Sheehan and the Tulip Queen Court members to greet the five finalists on the Lakehouse Stage in Washington Park on Sunday, May 12, Mother’s Day during the Tulip Festival. The ceremony will take place at 11:00 a.m. where one of the finalists will be crowned, Capital Region’s Best Mom. All five finalists will receive a gift bag including prizes from Forts Ferry Farm, Albany Institute of History and Art and flowers from Ambiance Florals and Events.
