CHARLTON — Kathryn Marie Andolina, 87, of Charlton passed away peacefully on Monday morning, May 14, 2018, surrounded by her loving family.

She was born in Leeper, Pa., to Leo Oliver and Kathrine Marie (Gregory) on October 12, 1930. She was preceded in death by her parents and siblings, John (Micky) Oliver, Francis (Frank) Oliver, Virginia Hotel and Robert Oliver.

She went to high school in Kane, Pa. and graduated in 1947. She graduated from University of Buffalo School of Nursing. She worked as a registered nurse at Albany Medical Center and retired in 1978. Marie was a devoted wife and mother to her family. She also enjoyed gardening and her Board activities at AIM Services, Inc. until 2014. She especially enjoyed her friends she met through ceramics and attended many celebratio­ns and gatherings with them throughout the years.

Marie is survived by her husband, Anthony "Tony" V. Andolina; their four children, Michael Andolina, Kathleen (Brody) and husband Jeffrey, Robert Andolina and wife Laura, John Andolina and wife Heidi, and her grandchild­ren, Steven and Ben Brody and Miriam (Jette) and husband, Daniel; Christophe­r and Callie Andolina and Emily, Julie and Anthony Andolina. She is also survived by her beloved brother Tom Oliver, and 25 nieces and nephews.

Calling hours will be held on Wednesday, May 16, from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Catricala Funeral Home, 1597 Route 9, Clifton Park, with a funeral Mass on Thursday at 10 a.m. in St. Edward’s Church in Clifton Park. Burial will follow in the Saratoga National Cemetery.
