Frankel’s boyfriend mixed pain meds
The late boyfriend of Bethenny Frankel told authorities he’d mixed pain medication with a sleeping pill ahead of his death, according to a new report.
Dennis Shields, who died last week, managed to inform the police officers and medics who arrived at the scene that he’d ingested Vicodin, oxycodone and a sleeping medication before he passed away, TMZ reported.
Medics pronounced him dead at the scene.
Shields’ assistant attempted to save him by giving him two doses of Narcan and officials gave him another dose as well once they got to his Manhattan residence, according to the TMZ site.
He had reportedly taken the medications to treat a back injury.
Frankel, 47, and Shields began their on-and-off relationship in 2016.
