Postcard from Saratoga Race Course

It’s Patch! The popular one-eyed horse from trainer Todd Pletcher’s barn prepares to go on the main track for his morning exercise on Friday. The 4-year-old, who was third in the 2017 Belmont Stakes, was third in the Alydar Stakes here on the undercard on Whitney Saturday a few weeks ago. We could see Patch run in the Grade I Woodward Stakes here on the final Saturday of the meet.
