Jack Brundage scored both second-half goals for Op pen hei me ph rat ah/ st. Johns ville, including the overtime shot, in a 2-1 win against Berne-knox.

OESJ improved to 5-1 with the Western Athletic Conference outcome, including 3-1 in league play. Tyler Goodemote had seven saves in the loss, while goalie counterpar­t Adam Vasquez produced five. More boys’ soccer: Mechanicvi­lle’s Jeff Luce scored twice (once in each half) in a 3-1 Wasaren League win against Greenwich. Stingy Mechanicvi­lle didn’t allow a shot in the game, besides a penalty kick conversion from Kevin Charette. ... Cambridge defeated Hoosick Falls, 1-0, behind a first-half goal from Alex Hommel. Orion Baker-porazinski provided the assist in the Wasaren League nail-biter . ... Mekeel Christian defeated Middleburg­h, 1-0, in Western Athletic Conference action thanks to a 66th-minute penalty kick from Daniel Mccarty. Goalie Ian Martuscell­o was credited with 16 saves in the win . ... Waterford defeated Saratoga Central Catholic, 1-0, behind Nate Powell’s second-half goal (assisted by Tyler Galarneau). Waterford goalie Bobby Valigorsky had six saves, including a late penalty kick, to preserve the Wasaren League win.

Girls’ soccer: Kaelyn Lawson had two Voorheesvi­lle goals in a 3-2 Colonial Council win against Catholic Central. Leah Weber and Maggie Thayer split up an eight-save day in the win, while counterpar­t goalie Maddie Finn had 10 saves in the loss . ... Gabby Alston scored in the eighth minute of the second overtime to give Niskayuna a 2-1 Suburban Council win against Guilderlan­d.

Girls’ volleyball: Ashley Lavigne had 14 service points, including five aces, to go with 18 assists in a straight-sets win for Shenendeho­wa against Averill Park in Suburban Council action . ... Emmy Krum had eight aces in Saratoga Springs’ fourset Suburban Council win against Albany. ... Mohonasen defeated Voorheesvi­lle in four sets in a Colonial Council match behind Hailey Deguire’s 32 digs and Bry Green’s 11 aces.

Boys’ volleyball: Jake Baker had 15 kills and three aces in Burnt Hills’ straight sets Suburban Council win against Colonie. Tyler Catalfano had four aces and five assists in the loss.
