Schodack crime explored on TV
An upcoming episode of “Twisted Sisters,” a true-crime show focusing on sisters and executiveproduced by Khloe Kardashian, will explore the grisly 1989 Schodack killing of a woman by her stepdaughter.
Set to air at 10 p.m. Monday, Sept. 24 on Investigation Discovery, “Daddy’s Girls” will focus on Carole Finkle, who was stabbed and bludgeoned with a wrench by her stepdaughter, Lisa — who initially blamed a mystery man and had the Rensselaer County community on edge.
According to the Times Union’s coverage of the murder and the trial, Carol Finkle was found in a pool of blood in her living room, covered with 112 blows and stab wounds. Lisa Finkle was sentenced to 25 years to life in 1991. Her sister Laura, charged with hindering prosecution, was acquitted.
