Albany series, a joint series sponsored by The Egg and Ualbany Performing Arts Center. Featuring nine companies which range in style from classic modern and Latin contempora­ry to tap and hip-hop to multi-sensory movement, the performanc­es in the series take place either at the Empire State Plaza venue or at the Performing Arts Center on the main campus of the University at Albany.

The second in the late Neil Simon’s coming-of-age trilogy, this play follows the adventures of Eugene Jerome when he joins the Army near the end of World War II and learns about life and love.

In Donald Churchill’s play, Marcia returns to her flat to find it has not been painted. A painter is just beginning the work when the wife of the man with whom Marcia is having an affair arrives to tell all to her husband. Marcia hires the painter, a part-time actor, to impersonat­e her husband. The Capital Region’s only profession­al dinner theater presents “The Long Weekend.” Featuring seasoned, profession­al Equity actors, “The Long Weekend,” by Norm Foster, is a hilarious comedy about four so-called best friends who slowly discover how they really feel about each other.

The actor and master of artistic expression will present Sergey Yesening poetry in the repertoire of the Theater Rustem Galich, there are more than ten poetic-musical concert programs and performanc­es with which he tours around the world, popularizi­ng the genre of artistic reading.
