MECHANICVI­LLE — Jeremy S. “Whoppers” Watrobski, 37, of Pawling Ave, died suddenly in his home on October 12, 2018. Born in Niskayuna on January 6, 1981, son of Loreen Roy Watrobski and the late Donald Watrobski, he was a 1999 graduate of Mechanicvi­lle High School. A proud longtime member of the Mechanicvi­lle Fire Department, he was a former vice president of the W.B. Neilson Hose Co. #4 and gave countless hours to the department. He also volunteere­d for the Waterford Rescue Squads EMS for some time.

A diehard NY Yankee and NY Giants fan, he enjoyed golfing and always looked forward to his weekends hanging out with his buddies. He was a frequent visitor of the Saratoga Racetrack and spent many days there with friends Timmer and Eddie.

Survivors include his loving mother; siblings, Casey “CJ” Watrobski of Queens, N.Y. and Karey (Anthony) Finelli of Mechanicvi­lle; his precious nephew, whom he loved dearly, Tyler Finelli; grandfathe­r, Stanley “Dgjie” Watrobski; several aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, October 17, from 4-7 p.m. at the Devito-salvadore Funeral Home, 39 S Main St, Mechanicvi­lle, NY 12118. A funeral home service will be held on Wednesday at 10 a.m. with burial to follow in St. Paul’s Cemetery

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Hemstreet Park Fire Department, PO Box 667, Mechanicvi­lle, NY 12118 or Clifton Park Halfmoon Emergency Corps, PO Box 1469, Clifton Park, NY 12065 in memory of Jeremy “Whoppers” Watrobski.
