Heroin dis­tri­bu­tion brings 10-year prison sen­tence

AL­BANY – A 35-year-old Sch­enec­tady man was sen­tenced to 10 years and five months in prison for con­spir­ing to dis­trib­ute heroin, the U.S. At­tor­ney’s of­fice said Fri­day.

Corey White, also known as “Stacks,” ad­mit­ted to po­lice that be­tween Au­gust 2016 and May 2017, he worked with an­other per­son to dis­trib­ute heroin in Sch­enec­tady, au­thor­i­ties said.

White also ad­mit­ted that dur­ing that time he had about 100 green-colored en­velopes that con­tained heroin pack­aged for sale, as well as two dig­i­tal scales, drug packaging ma­te­ri­als, and $4,462 in cash.

White’s sen­tence in­cludes six years of su­per­vised re­lease.
