RENSSELAER — Linda S. Gilbert, 64 of Watervliet, died Friday, November 9, 2018, at Riverside Nursing Home. Linda was born in Ocean Side, Calif. the daughter of Joan Adams Clewell and the late Harvey Munson Sr.

Linda was predecease­d by her sister, Joan Munson. She is survived by her three daughters, Holly A. Coonradt, Susan M. Stevens, and Jade A. Ashford; her mother Joan Adams (Clewell) Munson; three sisters, Deborah Munson, Michele (Michael) Peart and Janice Munson; and one brother, Harvey (Lara) Munson Jr. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral at 2 p.m. on Tuesday in the Wm. J. Rockefelle­r Funeral Home, Inc. 165 Columbia Tpke., Rensselaer. Friends are invited to her calling hours on Tuesday from 12-2 p.m. prior to the funeral. Send condolence­s at www. wjrockefel­ler.com

Kathy (Valenti) Laws. James attended both Niskayuna and Schoharie schools; graduated from Schoharie High School 2009. He was currently working at Zia’s Pizzeria in Nassau where he enjoyed the art of pizza making.

James was a very bright and compassion­ate soul. He used his wit, humor, and overall warm nature to bring cheer to those around him. James enjoyed deep philosophi­cal talks, spending time with his friends, and was very passionate about his dogs, Strider and Duke. James was loved by many and will be greatly missed.

James is survived by his mother, Kathy (Valenti) Laws; his sister, Melissa Laws; both maternal grandparen­ts, Kathleen (Rayno) and Louis Pincher; his paternal grandmothe­r, Elaine (Glendon) Laws, as well as many loving aunts, uncles, cousins along with a niece and nephew.

A memorial service officiated by Rabbi Matt Cutler will be on Monday, November 12, at 1 p.m. at Congregati­on Gates of Heaven, 852 Ashmore Ave, Schenectad­y, followed by a luncheon.

Relatives and friends may call at the Wm. Leahy Funeral Home, 336 Third St., Troy, on Sunday, November 11, from 1-4 p.m. A funeral service will be held Monday at 9:30 a.m. at the funeral home. Interment will be in the Calvary Cemetery, Glenmont.
