Livolsi, John Howard
TROY — John Howard Livolsi, 57, entered eternal peace on November 8, 2018, after a long and impressive battle with cancer.
John Howard was the son of Martha M. Alvaro Livolsi and the late Robert M. Livolsi Sr. of Troy. He retired from the Hearst Corporation after having worked many years for the Times Union Newspaper in Colonie. John’s happiest times were those spent with his son John II whom he was so proud of. He had a very special bond with all his nieces and nephews.
John Howard was an avid outdoorsman who loved hunting, fishing and being amongst all nature has to offer. He was a longtime member of the Green Island Rod and Gun Club, the Taconic Valley Rod and Gun Club, and the NRA. John will be most remembered for the times he cruised around on his Harley Davidson motorcycles or in his jeep during parties down the crick. He was a patriotic man who gave unwavering support to our military and law enforcement personnel.
John Howard, in addition to his mother Martha and his son John II, is survived by his siblings, Robert (Maria), David (Christina), Brian (Erin), Karen (Bill), Denise (Cosmo), Kevin (Todd) and Rodney (Doly); his loving nieces and nephews, Crystal (Michael), Cassidy, Alyssa (Vince), Lauren, Maria, Amanda, Alexandria, Jared, Shane, Audra, Robert, and Logan; and John II’S mother Jeannine Hartz. John also enjoyed a close relationship with many of his dear cousy
