CLIFTON PARK — Barbara Kellogg, 78 of Hemlock Drive, died on Wednesday, November 28, 2018, at Ellis Hospital surrounded by her loving family.

She was born in Ballston Spa on April 27, 1940, and was the daughter of the late Donald and Caroline Pfreundner Hall. Barbara was a graduate of Ballston Spa High School. She was the beloved wife of John C. Kellogg, whom she married on October 19, 1973. She retired as an administra­tive assistant for the medical director at the health center at SUNY in Albany; she had served there for more than 30 years. Barbara was an avid golfer, and enjoyed traveling, noting she visited all of the continents. She was a very active communican­t and eucharisti­c minister of St. Edward the Confessor Church in Clifton Park.

In addition to her beloved husband John, Barbara was the devoted mother of Michele (Robert) Nagel of Lutz, Fla., Stacey (Francis) Tully of St. Albans, Vt., Deborah Kellogg of Lenox, Mass., William (Lora) Kellogg of Rotterdam, Wendy (Paul) Grant of Guilderlan­d, and Kimberly (Peter) Denis of Eastham, Mass.; sister of Mary (William) Smollin of Clifton Park; also survived by nine grandchild­ren, a great-granddaugh­ter and several nieces and nephews.

The funeral will be held on Monday at 10 a.m. in St. Edward the Confessor Church in Clifton Park where the Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated. Calling hours will be from 3-5 p.m. on Sunday in the Gordon C. Emerick Funeral Home, 1550 Rt. 9 Clifton Park.
