Vintage cars bring a holiday classic to life.
Stockbridge, Mass., will cap off a weekend of holiday festivities with a vintage car show on Sunday along Main Street. The annual event re-creates the iconic “Stockbridge Main Street at Christmas” by long-time resident Norman Rockwell. Starting at 11:30 a.m. on Sunday, Dec. 2, the village’s main thoroughfare will be closed to traffic and populated by cars from the illustration’s era (roughly late 1940s through mid1950s). Though registration is closed, the show is open for public viewing from noon to 2 p.m. Call ahead, as the show is weather-permitting
Other events are scheduled around Stockbridge, including music, horse drawn wagon rides and kids’ activities. (Some require the purchase of a $5 button for admittance.)
