Assault charge: Thomas Dillberg, 48, of Bethlehem was charged with criminal contempt, aggravated family offense, assault and endangering the welfare of a child, accused of striking his wife in the face and injuring her, Albany County Sheriff’s officials said. He was arraigned and jailed in lieu of $7,500 bail.

Assault charge: An Albany County jail inmate was charged with assault after hitting another inmate in the face and breaking a bone surrounding his eye socket, authorities said. Sheriff’s officials said Mahteek Terry, 32, was charged with two counts of assault, a felony, arraigned and returned to jail.
