Jackson Brown, catholic central boys’ basketball: Pumped in 30 points (five 3-pointers) in a 66-50 setback against Mohonasen. dante Bouchard, gloversville boys’ basketball: Finished with 30 points in a 67-54 victory against Amsterdam.
Joseph girard iii, glens Falls boys’ basketball: Scored 53 points in a 100-63 win against South Glens Falls and 56 points in a 94-67 verdict over Broadalbin-perth. shane o’dell, schalmont boys’ basketball: Produced 32 points in a 77-42 win against Cohoes and 38 points, including career point No. 1,000, when the Sabres defeated Voorheesville 73-45.
Justice Brantley, catskill boys’ basketball: The senior point guard scored 39 points as the Cats beat Coxsackie-athens 79-70. Payton graber, schalmont girls’ basketball: Delivered a career-high 40 points to propel the Sabres past Voorheesville 53-42. avery Mills, Mekeel christian academy girls’ basketball: A seventh-grade point guard, Mills scored a career-best 31 points in a 75-46 decision over Middleburgh. graceann Bennett, Lake george girls’ basketball: The 6-foot-3 senior center produced 19 points, 19 rebounds and 10 assists as the Warriors defeated Fort Ann 66-35. sydney gagnon, North warren girls’ basketball: Scored 17 points, including her 1,000th career point, in a 57-49 loss against Whitehall. stasia epler, cambridge girls’ basketball: The freshman netted a career-best 21 points (five 3-pointers) as the Indians edged Mechanicville 57-53 in the Wasaren League. genny swanson, Loudonville christian
girls’ basketball: Became the third player in program history to surpass the 1,000-point plateau when she scored 14 points in a 72-28 loss against Greenwich. kyle grace, Burnt hills/ballston spa hockey: The senior goalie registered 25 saves in a 3-0 victory over Shenendehowa. connor carroll, Bethlehem hockey: Amassed three goals and five assists as the Eagles beat Shaker/colonie 8-3 and Adirondack 7-4. stevo Poulin, shenendehowa wrestling: The nation’s No. 1-ranked competitor at 106 pounds registered a 11-0 win over Norwich’s Dante Geislinger to capture his bracket at the 2019 Eastern States Championships.
Zack Lawrence, duanesburg wrestling: Seeded first at 152, Lawrence collected five wins at the Eastern States Championships — the last being a 4-2 verdict over Hauppauge’s Danny Maureillo — to earn the title. charlie grygas, duanesburg wrestling: Finished second at 160 pounds at the Eastern States Championships. cameron durant, guilderland wrestling: The junior, competing at 182, compiled a 5-2 record and earned a fifth-place finish at the Eastern States Championships.
Trent svingala, Maple hill wrestling: Captured the 132-pound bracket at the Joe Mccabe Invitational. caleb svingala, Maple hill wrestling: The junior defeated Watervliet’s Peyton White 11-3 to win the 106-pound bracket at the Joe Mccabe Invitational. hunter Mckenna, warrensburg wrestling: The sophomore pinned Windsor’s Langdon Sibley at 3:14 to earn the 145-pound crown at the Red Devil Invitational.

Burnt hills girls’ indoor track (distance medley): The grouping of freshman Emily Berg, sophomore Hannah Lewis, freshman Jamisen Vendetti and senior Rory Graham won the distance medley relay at the 37th Yale Invitational in 12 minutes, 10.41 seconds, the No. 2 time in the nation this season.
