Knicks’ skid stretches to 5

Mu­diay misses 3-point shot at buzzer; 76ers hold on for 108-105 win

Ben Sim­mons fell an as­sist short of a triple-dou­ble with 20 points and 22 re­bounds, Joel Em­biid scored 26 points and the Philadel­phia 76ers es­caped with a 108-105 vic­tory over the New York Knicks on Sun­day.

New York’s Em­manuel Mu­diay missed a po­ten­tial ga­me­ty­ing 3-pointer at the buzzer that would have sent the game into over­time.

JJ Red­dick had 22 points for the 76ers, who ended a two-game skid. Philadel­phia led by as many as 24 points late in sec­ond quar­ter be­fore New York charged back.

Bucks 133, Hawks 114: Gian­nis An­te­tok­oun­mpo scored 33 points, Eric Bled­soe added 24 points and 10 as­sists, and Mil­wau­kee won in coach Mike Bu­den­holzer’s re­turn to At­lanta. Trae Young led At­lanta with 26 points. Shenen­de­howa grad­u­ate Kevin Huerter was 3-for-9 shoot­ing and scored 11 points for the Hawks.

Rap­tors 140, Wizards 138 (2OT): Serge Ibaka hit a 3-pointer with 15 sec­onds left in the sec­ond over­time. Kawhi Leonard led Toronto with 41 points and 11 re­bounds, and Pas­cal Si­akim had 24 points and a ca­reer­high 19 re­bounds. Bradley Beal had 43 points, 15 re­bounds and 10 as­sists for Wash­ing­ton.

Magic 115, Rock­ets 109: Nikola Vuce­vic and Aaron Gor­don each scored 22 points and Or­lando took ad­van­tage of James Harden’s 1-for-17 3-point shoot­ing for Hous­ton. Harden still scored 38 points to push his run of 30-point games to 16, mak­ing 15 of 16 free throws. He had 12 as­sists and nine re­bounds.

Mav­er­icks 119, War­riors 114: Stephen Curry scored 48 points, mak­ing 11 3-point­ers, and Golden State held off Dal­las. Kevin Du­rant added 28 points for the War­riors.

nuggets 116, Trail Blaz­ers 113: Nikola Jo­kic scored a sea­son-high 40 points — one off his ca­reer high — for Den­ver. He added 10 re­bounds and eight as­sists. Damian Lil­lard led Port­land with 26 points.

Cava­liers 101, lak­ers 95: Cedi Os­man scored 20 points, Collin Sex­ton added 17 and Cleve­land ended a 12game los­ing streak. Kyle Kuzma led the Lak­ers with 29 points.
