Author discusses memoir

Coeymans native and author James L. Lipscomb discusses his new book, “I Got Shoes: A Memoir” at 2 p.m. Saturday at the RCS Community Library, 95 Main St., Ravena, to pay homage to the littleknown history of the African-american people who lived in Coeymans.
