Plug Power announces new fuel cells

Plug Power, the Latham fuel cell manufacturer, said it has started making the next generation of its Gendrive fuel cell to be used in forklift trucks. The new fuel cells have larger hydrogen fuel tanks that result in a 10 percent increase in run time, and they also have wireless communication capabilities that allow for more data collection to manage company fleets. The new units will be ready in March.
