Season Premiere! John Legend joins returning coaches Kelly Clarkson, Adam Levine and Blake Shelton for Season 16 of the singing competitio­n series. The two-part season premiere airs Monday and Tuesday, with another episode airing Tuesday, March 5, before the series returns regularly on Tuesday, April 23.

■ THE GREEN BOOK: GUIDE TO FREEDOM

Smithsonia­n Channel, 8 p.m.

With “Green Book” among the most buzzed-about films at this year’s Academy Awards, Smithsonia­n Channel presents Yoruba Richen’s (“The New Black”) documentar­y about the Jim Crow-era travel guides that listed addresses of establishm­ents that welcomed Africaname­ricans.

■ MAN WITH A PLAN: “ADAM’S WALL HOLE BOWL”

CBS, 8:30 p.m.

Adam (Matt Leblanc) and the guys visit Lowell (Matt Cook) at his new bachelor pad and start using it as a hangout to get away from their home lives for a bit. Guest star Ron Funches returns in the new episode.

■ BIOGRAPHY: THE TRUMP DYNASTY

A&E, 9 p.m.

New Series! This six-hour documentar­y series spans three generation­s of the Trump family saga and examines the life and heritage of the 45th president of the United States, drawing from firsthand accounts and never-before-seen archival footage.

■ MAGNUM P.I.: “MURDER IS NEVER QUIET”

CBS, 9 p.m.

In the new episode, Magnum (Jay Hernandez) is hired by a woman to prove that her son didn’t kill his girlfriend and has only 24 hours to do so before the accused accepts a plea deal.

■ I AM THE NIGHT: “ALOHA”

TNT, 9 p.m.

The penultimat­e episode finds Jay (Chris Pine) and Fauna (India Eisley) searching for a way to make it to Hawaii: Fauna to find her mother, Tamar Hodel, and the truth about why she was put up for adoption, and Jay to see if Tamar holds the answers to the Hodel case that destroyed his career.

■ THE GOOD DOCTOR: “BELIEVE”

The new chief of surgery, Dr. Jackson Han (guest star Daniel Dae Kim), believes Dr. Shaun Murphy (Freddie Highmore) is more of a liability than an asset and works to keep him out of the operating room permanentl­y.

■ IT’S A HARD TRUTH AIN’T IT

HBO, 10 p.m.

This documentar­y — filmed at Pendleton Correction­al Facility during the same production period as the HBO drama “O.G.” — is co-directed by Madeleine Sackler and 13 men incarcerat­ed at the facility. The film follows the men as they study filmmaking as a vehicle to explore their memories of how they ended up with decadeslon­g prison sentences. It also features animated sequences by Yoni Goodman, which help bring their stories to life.

■ THE ENEMY WITHIN

NBC, 10 p.m.

New Series! In this spy-hunting thriller, Erica Shepherd (Jennifer Carpenter) is a brilliant former CIA operative, now known as the most notorious traitor in American history and serving life in a Supermax prison. With nowhere else to turn, FBI agent Will Keaton (Morris Chestnut) enlists Shepherd to help track down a fiercely dangerous and elusive criminal she knows all too well. For Keaton, it’s not easy to trust the woman who cost him so much.
