SLINGERLAN­DS — Charlotte T. Kullnig, 95 of Slingerlan­ds, formerly of Nassau, passed away on March 20, 2019, at St. Peter’s Hospital. Born in Montreal, Quebec, Canada to Omer Voisard and Albina David, she was educated in Montreal and moved to Nassau with her now late husband Rudy in 1959.

Charlotte was a communican­t of St. Mary’s Church in Nassau, was an avid skier, gourmet chef, enjoyed the opera and loved to travel the world. She loved her family and friends and will be missed by all who knew her.

Charlotte is survived by many nieces; and nephews; her dear friends the O’hare’s; and several other friends.

A funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday, March 25, at 10 a.m. in St. Mary’s Church in Nassau. Relatives and friends are invited to call at the Thomas P. Mooney Funeral Home, 11 Elm St., Nassau on Sunday from 4-7 p.m. Interment will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery in Nassau.

Ruth and Bob retired and built a very active life at Deer Creek, Fla.; golfing, playing cards, building friendship­s with open doors to all. Her zest for life was infectious and she danced like there was no tomorrow. Ruth made lasting friendship­s with whoever she met. Ruth was an ever-devoted wife and mother. She adored her 15 grandchild­ren and 13 great-grandchild­ren and always made time for them. Everyone was her favorite.

Ruth loved her twin brother Richard Swantek (Josephine); and her sister June Marx (Frank). Sisters and brothers-in-law, Patricia Lyons (late Raymond), Arlene Lyons (late Michael), Edward Lyons (Kathie), Theresa Herrick (Jack) and the late Helen and Jimmy Noonan. Also, many cousins, nieces and nephews.

Ruth is survived by her children, Karen Olmstead (late Pat), Diane Lyons, Tom Lyons (Pam), Ellen Morley (Randy), Paul Lyons (Alison) and Susan Lyons (Ed Gadomski). Ruth was predecease­d by her parents Stephen and Cecilia Swantek; and her goddaught er/granddaugh­ter, Shauna Nicole Morley.

Ruth fought a courageous battle with breast cancer, never giving up hope. Her family is especially grateful for her care received from the Atria and then Hospice and all the volunteers who tended to Ruth and her family’s every need during this difficult time.

Relatives and friend are invited to visit with Ruth’s family Friday, March 22, 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the Mcveigh Funeral Home, 208 North Allen Street, Albany, NY 12206.

Funeral Services Saturday March 23, 9 a.m. at Mcveigh Funeral Home, Albany thence to the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception, Albany at 10 a.m. where her funeral Mass will be celebrated.

g Schenectad­y. Upon the death of his father, Bob left Union College, returning to Argyle. For many years, he operated Page’s Market with his mother Susan.

On August 8, 1965, Bob married Dorothy F. White in St. Joseph’s Church in Greenwich. In 1973, he graduated from the State University of Albany with a B.S. degree in biology and began working as Washington County’s planning director. Washington County was one of the great loves of Bob’s life. He spent many hours driving the county roads with family and friends, enjoying the picturesqu­e scenery and abundant wildlife.

In retirement, Bob pursued his many varied interests with great enthusiasm. He enjoyed golf, gardening, reading, cooking, collecting antiques, rug hooking, basket weaving, raising Labrador retrievers; but most of all, fly fishing and local history. Bob was an expert fly fisherman and tied his own remarkable flies. He was able to travel to the Northwest United States to practice his skill, however nothing compared to Bob’s favorite fishing stream the Battenkill River. He could often be found along the Battenkill in the evening when the “hatch” was good or at the “Springhole” visiting with friends.

Bob always promoted Washington County and local history. In later years, he worked as a volunteer in the Gill Room at the Greenwich Free Library. He and a dear friend of his interviewe­d and recorded recollecti­ons and facts of Greenwich and the surroundin­g area for the oral history project of the library’s Gill Room.

Bob is survived by his beloved wife of 54 years, Dorothy White Page; one brother Gerald (Suzanne) Page of Florida; two sisters, Diane (Chuck) Childs of Ithaca, and Rita (Michael) Cacchillo of Idaho; brotherin-law and sister-in-law, Bob and Karen White of Greenwich, eight nieces and nephews, as well as numerous relatives in Schenectad­y.

Funeral services will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Friday, March 29, in the Flynn Brothers Funeral Home, 80 Main St., Greenwich. The family will receive guests at the funeral home beginning at 10:15 a.m. Burial in the Greenwich Cemetery will follow the funeral service and a reception for family and friends at the Greenwich Elks Club will immediatel­y follow the burial.
