County Waste to begin collection service in Clifton Park on April 8

County Waste will offer free, curbside yard waste pick-up service for Clifton Park residents from April to the end of November, weather permitting. Training runs start next week, with official pickup beginning on Monday, April 8.

Weekly yard waste pickup days will be Monday, Tuesday and Friday. Residents that live south of Ballston Lake Road and Kinns Road will have their pick-ups on Monday or Tuesday. Residents north of Kinns Road and Ballston Lake Road will have their yard waste picked up on Fridays. At various times of the year when yard waste debris is heavier than normal, pick-up days can deviate from the establishe­d schedule.

Yard waste collection in Scotia will resume on Tuesday, April 2 and continue, weather permitting, until Dec. 5, according to a village advisory. Yard waste will be picked up on the resident’s regular trash collection day. The annual collection of large appliances during the first two weeks of April has been replaced with a year-round program on an as needed basis.
