Students combine for cleanup

-

About 80 Save the Earth from A to Z volunteers cleaned up Ontario, Quail and Hamilton streets and Hudson and Western avenues on March 31 in Albany. The group consisted of college students and members from the Church of God who are carrying out a worldwide movement entitled, “Reduce Crime Together,” during which ASEZ volunteers spruced up over 7,000 different regions and 800 universities. Although the weather was chilly and rainy, about 80 volunteers collected more than 40 bags of trash and other wreckage. Most of the participants were students from SUNY Albany, the College of Saint Rose, and the Sage Colleges.
