Open house to focus on home repairs

Are you an experienced home rehabber interested in restoring historic houses in Albany? On Sept. 7, Historic Albany and the Albany County Land Bank will host a free Rehab Faire & Open House at the Howe branch of the Albany Public Library, 105 Schuyler St. The event is 10 a.m. until noon. Speakers will discuss the building-permitting process, and federal and state incentives from noon to 4 p.m. See more at historic-albany.org.
