NORTH GREENBUSH — David J. Browe passed away suddenly doing what he loved to do, drag racing at Lebanon Valley on Saturday, October 5, 2019.

Born on January 16, 1955, David was the son of the late Gerald Browe Sr. and Evelyn Bryant Browe. David’s greatest joys in life start with his loving wife Janet, spending time with family, especially his children and grandchild­ren, his love for animals and his street racing family. David enjoyed vacationin­g in Maine and the many road trips in search of muscle cars. He truly can be described as a muscle car enthusiast and was a member of the Drag Racing Club: 518 No Stipz Street Racing.

David always enjoyed a good party surrounded by all his family and friends. He could always put a smile on anyone’s face with his jokes. David believed in working hard for things you want in life and instilled this in all of his children. He was the proud owner and operator of David Browe Paving, Inc.

In addition to his wife Janet, David is survived by his children, Jason ( Marcee), Liza ( Rob), Angeline ( Mill) Keneston and David ( Tara); his cherished grandchild­ren, Anthony, Morgan, Madison, Leah, Jamison, Juliana, Lindsay Ann, Drake and Dalton; his fur babies, Sophie and Sammy; siblings, Carol ( David) King, Richard ( Judith), Doris ( Jim) Pullar, Vernon ( Jim), William ( Helena), Larry ( Cathy), Donna, Margaret ( Tom) Corellis, and Jon ( Andrew); several nieces and nephews; motherin- law Joan Boule’; and brother and sister- in- law Robert ( Celine) Boule’ and Cathy Boule’. David was predecease­d by his brother Gerald Sr.; sister Elizabeth; best friend/ nephew Shawn Pullar; father- in- law Robert Boule’; and dad’s boy Pete.

The family wishes to thank the first responders and staff who cared for David at Lebanon Valley Speedway and Albany Medical Center Hospital.

A funeral service for David will be held on Friday, October 11, at 10 a. m. in the

W. J. Lyons Jr. Funeral Home, 1700 Washington Ave., Rensselaer. Relatives and friends are invited to call at the funeral home on Thursday, from 4 to 7 p. m. Interment will follow the funeral service in Memory Gardens Cemetery, Colonie.

A homemaker for many years, Sally returned to the workforce after raising her children and was employed by Albany Savings Bank as direct deposit coordinato­r, retiring in 1996. She was a member of Faith Lutheran Church in Troy and formerly of St. John’s Lutheran Church in Troy.

She was the loving mother of Susan ( Joseph) Nolan, Cynthia ( Frank) Lacosse and Jeffrey ( Hayley) Davis and also Carol Braunstein; cherished grandmothe­r of Amanda ( Sean Doyle) Nolan, Michael ( Kelsey) Nolan, Brandy ( Brian) Albert, Dillon Davis, Trevor Lacosse, Madeleine, Clayton and Jamie Davis; proud greatgrand­mother of Amelia Mary Nolan and Casey Kay Albert.

Due to road constructi­on in Green Island, funeral services will be held on Thursday at 10 a. m. at Parker Brothers Memorial, 2013 Broadway, Watervliet. Interment will be beside her husband and son in Memory Gardens. Calling hours will be held at Parker Brothers Memorial on Wednesday from 4 to 7 p. m.

y, January 26, 1950, a son of the late Paul and Eveline Farrigan. He graduated from Colonie Central High School. Dick worked for many years at Thompson and Johnson Equipment, Inc. in Albany for 26 years. He worked in the industry for 46 years and made many lifelong friends. He also worked at the Albany Times Union in the Transporta­tion Department for over 20 years. He was an avid New York Yankees fan. He was a devoted husband, father and grandfathe­r.

Dick and Debbie would have celebrated their 50th wedding anniversar­y on October 15.

Dick was predecease­d by his sisters, Susan Cook and Christine Farrigan. He is survived by his wife Debbie of 49 years; his son, Paul ( Pamela) of Colonie; his daughter, Wendy ( Matthew) Press of Colonie; six grandchild­ren, Gillian, Laura, Deborah and Emily Farrigan, Maden and Morgan Press; his brother, Gary ( Dee) of Latham; his brother- in- law, Chipper ( Jane) Mitchell of Greenville; nieces and nephew, Angela Shortle, Sarah Panetta and Davey Mitchell.

Dick’s family wishes to extend their heartfelt thanks to the medical staff of Albany Medical Center for their exceptiona­l care and devotion during his illness.

Calling hours will be held from 4 to 7 p. m. on Tuesday, October 8, at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 343 New Karner, Rd, Colonie. A celebratio­n of Dick’s life will be held at 11 a. m. on Wednesday, October 9, in the funeral home. Interment will follow in Memory Gardens, 983 Watervliet Shaker Road, Colonie.
