Forwards

■ Taryn Ringer, Jr. Johnstown: Named a first-team Foothills all-star for the third year in a row and was named to the New York State Championsh­ips all-tournament team, which is chosen across Classes A, B and C.

■ Hannah Risko, Jr., Guilderlan­d: Consistent­ly scored for the Lady Dutch as the team went all the way to the regional round of the state tournament, including two against Baldwinsvi­lle in the subregiona­l round.

■ Jordan Bentley, Sr., Queensbury: Led the Spartans in goals and assists on the way to their fifth Class B championsh­ip game in six years and was named a Foothills Council first-team all-star.

Midfield

■ Sophia Sericolo, Jr., Guilderlan­d: Sericolo scored the winning goal with less than nine minutes remaining in the second overtime to lift the Lady Dutch to a 2-1 win over Shenendeho­wa in the Section II Class A championsh­ip and was a consistent offensive standout.

■ Emily Fleming, Jr., Johnstown: Had six goals and 11 assists this season as a key part of the Lady Bills’ midfield transition game.

■ Hailey Ballard, Sr., Queensbury: Contribute­d two goals in Queensbury ’s semifinal win over Scotia and was reliable at the position throughout the season.

Defense

■ Rian Davis, Sr., Saratoga Springs: The second-year firstteam Suburban all-star supported a young, inexperien­ced Saratoga offense all the way to the Class A semifinal.

■ Sarah Pratt, Jr., Johnstown:

Was the backbone of a Lady Bills defense that allowed only 12 goals all season and 4.5 shots on goal per game on average.

Goalie

■ Abby Danson, Sr., Shenendeho­wa: The Suburban Council first-team all-star formalized her commitment to Ohio State this season and was a force to be reckoned with in the net.

■ Coach of the year: Jen Sykes, Guilderlan­d. Sykes coached the Lady Dutch to the program’s first sectional title with a 3-0 win over top-seed Shenendeho­wa and a win in the subregiona­l round of the state tournament. Under her guidance, Guilderlan­d went 12-8 despite a 2-7 start; its season ended with a 6-0 loss in regionals to Section IV’S Maine-endwell.
