Washington Mystics forward Elena Delle Donne said that she was denied a medical exemption from playing in the 2020 WNBA season by a league panel of doctors. The 2019 MVP, who helped the Mystics to the league title last season, has lived with Lyme disease for more than a decade and had sought the designatio­n at the advice of her doctor.
