Cordero’s widow: “We didn’t kiss goodbye”

- SPEARS

One year after dropping off her husband Nick Cordero at the hospital, Amanda Kloots revealed Tuesday that the two had little contact before he entered the building.

“With COVID restrictions in place, we didn’t know which entrance was even open, so I left him on the corner,” she wrote in an Instagram post. “We didn’t hug. We didn’t kiss goodbye. We couldn’t. It was clear he was sick with something and we couldn’t take any risks. I don’t even know if he said bye to Elvis or if we said, ‘I love you.’”

Cordero, a Broadway star, died from COVID -19 on July 5 at age 41. His death came more than two months after Kloots and their young son, Elvis, left him outside Cedars-sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles.

“I told him I’d stay nearby and to call me when he’s done. We walked to The Grove to kill time. We thought it would be a couple hours,” the “Talk” co-host wrote. “That was the last day I saw Nick as Nick.”

Spears says she has been judged all her life

Britney Spears revealed Tuesday that she “cried for two weeks and well …. I still cry sometimes !!!! ” after watching the “Framing Britney Spears” documentary that aired on Hulu in February.

“My life has always been very speculated …watched … and judged really my whole life !!!” the 39-year-old artist wrote in an Instagram post. “It takes a lot of strength to TRUST the universe with your real vulnerability cause I’ve always been so judged… insulted… and embarrassed by the media… and I still am till this day.”

The “Toxic” singer said, “I didn’t watch the documentary but from what I did see of it I was embarrassed by the light they put me in.”

The special led to support from many people who want Spears to be released from the courtenforced conservatorship that grants her father, James, control over much of her life.

Spears has said she’s afraid of James and wants him replaced in the conservatorship.
