‘Tax Day Blues’ dinner is April 15
ALBANY — A fourcourse, spring-inspired, hot dinner will be available for drive-through pickup between 4 and 5 p.m. April 15 at The Beltrone Center, 6 Winners Circle.
The meal, which will cost $13, will be offered by Colonie Senior Service Centers in partnership with Mazzone Hospitality and can be delivered to homes of those living within 10 miles of the Beltrone Center.

Estate planning workshop offered
COPAKE — Learn the basics of estate planning at 6 p.m. April 19 at a free Zoom workshop offered by the Roecliff Jansen Community Library.
Lorraine Coyle of Coyle & Associates LLP will talk about wills, trusts, power of attorney, health care proxies and Medicaid planning to protect assets should one need nursing home care.

Birding in Hudson Valley talk planned
An online event at 4 p.m. April 24, will encourage bird enthusiasts to explore the rich diversity of bird life beyond the backyard bird feeder.
Author Kathryn Schneider, PH.D., will provide suggestions for selecting binoculars and hints for finding birds. She will share pictures of birds from her book, “Birding the Hudson Valley,” including an introduction to bird foods and habitats. Participants may purchase the book, signed by the author.
Schneider has conducted bird surveys for the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, is past president of the New York State Ornithological Association and co-chairs the steering committee for the state’s third Breeding Bird Atlas Project.
The Zoom event is sponsored by Columbia County Habitat for Humanity.
Tickets cost $25 each or $45 for a family. Proceeds will benefit Columbia County Habitat For Humanity.

Craft Fair set for Brookside Museum
BALLSTON SPA — The Saratoga County History Center’s countywide craft fair will be held 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, June 5, at the Brookside Museum, 6 Charlton St.
Guests will be able to shop a wide variety of locally handcrafted collectibles, antiques and farm products by upstate artisans, farmers and culinarians. The event is juried and vendors will be judged on their originality, creativity and craftsmanship.
Admission is free and the event will be held rain or shine.
