Fresh Acts: Festival of New Plays, 8 p.m. Wednesday. www.albany.edu/musicandtheatre/theatre-productions. The festival, presented by the Theatre Program of the University at Albany’s Department of Music and Theatre, will feature readings of four one-act plays written, directed, stage managed and performed by students. Performances take place daily through April 10 (also 8 p.m. Thursday, 3 p.m. Friday and 2 and 8 p.m. Saturday). It will also include a showcase of excerpts from student solo performance worksin-progress, presented by the writers, for the Friday performance.
