Virtual Relay For Life is Saturday

Five local colleges will host the virtual Relay For Life of the Capital Region on their campuses starting at 1:30 p.m. Saturday, April 10.

Student volunteers from Albany College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences, The College of Saint Rose, Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, Siena College and University at Albany campuses have teamed up to put on a combined experience.

The online Facebook event will feature a mix of live and pre-recorded segments that celebrate cancer survivors and caregivers, remember loved ones lost and empower those participating to continue the fight against cancer.

A luminaria ceremony will be held at 6:30 p.m.
