Source: Jets sign RT Moses to one-year deal

NEW YORK — A source said former Washington right tackle Morgan Moses signed a one-year deal with the New York Jets.

Moses’ deal is worth $3.6 million base salary, per NFL Network. He can reportedly get to $5.3 million with 80 percent or more playing time incentives.

Moses figures to start at right tackle to protect QB Zach Wilson, the No. 2 pick in this year’s NFL draft.

More NFL: The Steelers signed five-time Pro Bowl guard Trai Turner to a one-year deal. Financial terms were not disclosed.

Tennis: Angelique Kerber upset top-seeded Petra Kvitova as she won two three-set matches in a day to reach the final of the Bad Homburg Open. Earlier, Kerber beat Amanda Anisimova of the U.S. 2-6, 6-3, 6-3 in one of three quarterfin­als reschedule­d after rain washed out the entire Thursday schedule. Hockey: The Adirondack Thunder announced a multiyear extension of their affiliatio­n agreement with the NHL’S New Jersey Devils. The Thunder will have the Utica Comets as their AHL affiliate this season. Adirondack returns to the ice this season after the entire North Division of the ECHL was canceled because of the pandemic restrictio­ns.
