Burt, Frank J. Jr.

PETERSBURGH

— Frank J. Burt Jr., 90 of Petersburgh, passed into eternal rest on Sunday, June 27, 2021, at The Grand Nursing Home in Guilderland. Frank was born in Troy and was the son of the late Frank J. Burt Sr. and Ethel Mae Siebert Burt; and loving husband of Norma M. Doin Burt of Petersburgh.

Frank had been employed by The Golub Corp. as a meat manager for 32 years. Frank served our country in the U.S. Army from 19521954. He and Norma enjoyed playing cards and spending time together.

In addition to his wife, Frank is survived by his children, Cynthia Richichi, Gregory Burt, Michael and Stephanie Mossey and Steven Burt. He is also survived by his brother, William (Marilyn) Burt.

The funeral service for Frank will be held on Thursday at 5 p.m. at The Wm. Leahy Funeral Home, 336 Third St., Troy. Relatives and friends are invited to attend and may call at the funeral home on Thursday from 2-5 p.m.

Interment with full military honors will be held at The Gerald BH Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery in Schuylerville at a later date.
