Marsh, Mary Sybella (Richardson)

LATHAM — Mary Sybella (Richardson) Marsh, 89 of Latham, the beloved wife of Robert Francis Marsh, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family on the evening Tuesday, June 29, 2021.

Born on Staten Island on June 25, 1932, she was the daughter and third child of the late Thomas and Honora (nee Manley) Richardson.

Mary is survived by her husband Robert Francis Marsh of Latham; children, Mary Pat "Sis" Butterly of Ireland, Christopher John Marsh of Rexford, Conn., Michael Anthony Marsh of Woodbridge, Va., Daniel Gerard Marsh of Point Of Rocks, Md., Jonathan Paul Marsh of Saratoga Springs, and Thomas Severn Marsh of Forest Hills. In addition to her parents, Mary was predeceased by her son, Robert Thomas Marsh; and siblings, John Richardson and Patricia Shukis.

Relatives and friends are invited and may call on Friday, July 2, from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Dufresne & Cavanaugh Funeral Home, 149 Old Loudon Rd., Latham. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, July 3, at 10 a.m. in Our Lady of the Assumption Church, 498 Watervliet Shaker Rd., Latham with Father Geoffrey Burke officiating. Interment will immediately follow in the Immaculate Conception Cemetery, Colonie.
