SATURDAY, JULY 3

SUNDAY, JULY 4

■ 10 a.m. parade starts at at Dairyland on Route 20, Sharon Spring and will feature floats, antiques cars, tractors and groups carrying banners. Food trucks on the front lawn of Sharon Springs Central School

■ 11 a.m., reading of the Declaratio­n of Independen­ce at 11 a.m. at the Loudonvill­e Green, insteresec­tion of routes 9 and 378, Colonie by Peter G. Crummey, former senior Colonie town justice and court administra­tor. Sponsored by the Greater Loudonvill­e Associatio­n. Refreshmen­ts provided.

■ 11:30 a.m., celebratio­n for our homeless and needy neighbors, chapel followed by picnic for 500 adults and children, Capital City Rescue Mission, 259 South Pearl St., Albany

■ Noon to dusk, parade starts at the entrance to Shenendeho­wa campus on Route 146 and ends on Clifton Common. Music, concession­s, etc. Fireworks at dusk.

■ 5:30 p.m. to dusk, the Washington County Fairground­s, 392 Old Schuylervi­lle Road, Greenwich. Food trucks and fireworks sponsored by the Fort Miller Group and The Washington County Fairground­s. Bring blankets and chairs

■ 6 to 10 p.m., the 45th annual Price Chopper Market 32 celebratio­n at the Empire State Plaza. Parking vaccinatio­n site opens at 5:30 p.m. Official ceremony at 7:45 p.m. Bands, food, and at 9:15 p.m. fireworks.
