Lynne Rutnik named deputy superintendent for Schenectady
The town’s central school district has lost another superintendent.
Lynne Rutnik, who has been with the district for five years, has been named a deputy superintendent in Schenectady city schools.
She was appointed on Wednesday at the Schenectady board of education meeting.
In a statement on the school
website, Rutnik announced her move saying she is “incredibly proud of the work we have accomplished, especially the last 16 months, which presented challenges that our resilient and dedicated students, faculty, staff, and families turned into opportunities.”
She also said she is “deeply saddened to be saying farewell.”
