TROY — Anne C. Mchugh, 87, boarded an express flight to Heaven on August 21, 2021. Anne was the daughter of the late John and Anna Harrington Curran. Anne married the love of her life, Leonard Mchugh, on June 13, 1953, and together they raised six children. She is survived by Leonard and her children: Judy (Bill) Testo, Susan (Jack) Canty, Michael (Sharon) Mchugh, Timothy (Audrey) Mchugh, Catherine (Chris) Farnam, and Maribeth (Dale) Lindeman. She is also survived by her siblings: Jack Curran and Bill (Linda) Curran and Mary Folsom. Beloved “Mimi” was the wonderful grandmother to Kara (Nick) Rivera, Briana (Christian) Milanese, Taylor and Victoria (Mason) Farnam, Liam (Tori) Testo, Matthew (Sam) and Brady Lindeman, and Seamus and Connor (Nikki) Mchugh, Anne was the proud great-grandmother of Rylan, Mac, Vaughn, and Eagan Rivera, and Sullivan Milanese. She is also survived by her sister-in-law June Curran; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Anne was predeceased by brothers, Steve Curran and Joe Curran; and sister-in-law Kay Curran.

Mimi loved her family above all else. A strong woman of faith, she was a mother figure to anyone who knew her. She was welcoming, nurturing, kind, caring and simply a wonderful human being. Those who knew her have said you could not find a better person if you searched the world.

Anne enjoyed the Saratoga Race Course, bingo games, entering contests, and playing wheel of fortune on the slots. Later in life, she looked forward to spending the winter months in Florida and enjoying time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Although we will miss her, she will continue to live on through all of her family.

A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Wednesday, August 25, 2021 at 9:30 a.m. at the St. Jude the Apostle Church, 43 Brookside Avenue, Wynantskill, NY.
