Vanvleet has season-high in rout of Knicks

Raptors’ point guard scores 19 of his 35 points in the third

Fred Vanvleet scored 19 of his season-high 35 points in the third quarter, Pascal Siakam had 20 points and 14 rebounds, and the Toronto Raptors extended their home winning streak against the Knicks to 11 games by beating a depleted New York team 120-105 on Sunday.

OG Anunoby scored 14 points, Scottie Barnes had 13 and Chris Boucher 12 as the Raptors won back-to-back games for the first time since home wins over New York and Sacramento on Dec. 10 and 13.

Evan Fournier scored 20 points and RJ Barrett and Obi Toppin each had 19 for the Knicks, who lost their second straight after winning the previous three.

The Knicks were without starters Julius Randle and Mitchell Robinson, who joined Nerlens Noel, Jericho Sims, and Wayne Selden in health and safety protocols. Another starter, guard Kemba Walker, sat for the second straight game because of a sore left knee.

Vanvlet shot 11 for 17 and made a season-high seven of his 13 attempts from 3-point range. He went 6 for 6 at the free throw line and finished with five rebounds and five assists.

Celtics 116, Magic 111 (OT): Jaylen Brown scored a career-high 50 points,

rallying the Boston Celtics from 14 points down late in the fourth quarter in a 116-111 overtime victory over the Orlando Magic. Brown scored 21 points in

the fourth quarter, then opened OT with his fifth 3-pointer. Brown was 19 of 29 from the field.

Cavaliers 108, Pacers 104: Rookie

Evan Mobley had 24 points and nine rebounds, Kevin Love scored 20 points and Cleveland beat Indiana to snap a three-game losing streak. Jarrett Allen scored 18 points and Lamar Stevens added a season-high 15 for Cleveland.

Kings 115, Heat 113: Aaron Fox scored 11 of his 24 points over the final six minutes, including two free throws with 6.2 seconds left, and Sacramento ended Miami’s five-game winning streak. Buddy Hield added 26 points, and Damian Jones had 18 points and 10 rebounds.

Suns 133, Hornets 99: Devin Booker scored 24 points, Jalen Smith tied a career high with 19 points and 12 rebounds and short-handed Phoenix hammered Charlotte. Lamelo Ball had 17 points for the Hornets.

Mavericks 95 , Thunder 86: Luka Doncic had 14 points, 10 assists and nine rebounds in his return from a 10-game absence, Marquese Criss scored a season-high 15 points and Dallas beat Oklahoma City.
