Angling for a catch
The striped bass season has hit its stride on the Hudson River below the Federal Dam in Troy. Anglers, including this kayaker on Monday at Green Island, have been out in force the past couple of weeks as the stripers, getting ready to spawn, have been chasing the shad and river herring, which also migrate up river to spawn in spring.
