A red carpet anxiety attack

-

Khloe Kardashian

had an anxiety-fueled time keeping up with the Met Gala crowd.

The Good American co-founder, 37, took to Twitter early Tuesday to reflect on her first time attending the invitationonly fashion event held at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in Manhattan.

“Am I supposed to admit that I almost had a heart attack on that carpet tonight?” Kardashian tweeted just after 3 a.m. “My anxiety was through the roof!”

Kardashian swiftly followed up her confession with a tribute to Moschino creative director Jeremy Scott.

“I am so incredibly honored that I was invited to the MET wearing @Moschino,” she tweeted. “@ITSJEREMYSCOTT designed my dress in about 10 days.”

The reality family made plenty of headlines for their get-ups and plus-ones Monday.

Big sis Kim attended the event with “SNL” star Pete Davidson on her arm, while she donned the dress famously worn by Marilyn Monroe nearly 60 years ago for John F. Kennedy’s May 19, 1962, birthday party.

“I had to lose 16 pounds to be able to fit it,” Kardashian told La La Anthony on the red carpet Monday, noting she “was determined” to make the transformation.

Depp libel suit moves forward

A judge on Tuesday let Johnny Depp move forward with his libel suit against his ex-wife, Amber Heard, after the “Pirates of the Caribbean” star rested his case.

Heard’s lawyers had asked the judge to dismiss the case, arguing that Depp had failed to make his case as a matter of law and that no reasonable jury could find in his favor.

But the judge, Penney Azcarate, said the standard for dismissing a case at this point in the trial is exceedingly high, and that the case should be allowed to move forward if Depp has provided even a “scintilla” of evidence backing up his claims.

The trial will move forward with Heard’s team presenting its witnesses after more than three weeks of testimony from Depp’s witnesses. Depp also spent four days on the stand testifying in the trial.

Depp and his lead

lawyer, Benjamin Chew, patted each other on the back after the judge ruled the case can proceed.

Chew argued that the jury has a wealth of evidence to conclude that Heard falsely accused Depp of abuse. In fact, he said, the evidence shows that “Ms. Heard physically abused him. She’s the abuser.”

Heard’s lawyer, J. Benjamin Rottenborn, said the evidence is clear over the last three weeks of testimony that Heard’s allegations of abuse are truthful.
