March, Carol Bertha Wilcox Owens

GLENMONT — Carol Bertha Wilcox Owens March left us to be with her savior Jesus on February 26, 2022, at the age of 93.

She was born in Valatie, N.Y. to her parents Harold and Caroline Wilcox on July 9, 1928.

Carol was a beloved mother, grandmother and sister. She was predeceased by her brother Harold, her husband, Ellsworth March, and her grandson, David Tryon.

Carol is survived by her sister, Roberta (Joe) Castang; her three daughters, Karen (Arthur) Boecker, Laurie (timothy) Tryon and Lisa Appleby (Steven Magee); her six grandchildren, Loren (Erin) Wyatt, Jessica (Charles) Irving, Ladawn (Chad) Gray. Amanda Appleby (Michael Balch), Grace (Sean) Wahlberg, Gabby (RJ) Boomhower; and her greatgranddaughters, Alyssa Wyatt and Abigail Gray.

Carol loved sharing cookies and Panera with her grandkids and collecting her angel figurines. She was active in her church life for many years and will be missed by her friends and family.

Carol’s service will be held on May 7, at 2 p.m. at St. Stephens Episcopal Church in Delmar.
