Shaw, Gerald R. "Jerry" Sr.

LATHAM — Gerald R. "Jerry" Shaw Sr., 76, passed away Sunday, May 1, 2022, with his loving family by his side. Jerry was born in Amsterdam, N.Y. and raised in Hagaman, N.Y., the son of the late Richard and Hilda Shaw.

Jerry worked many years as a truck driver for APA Transport Company in Glenmont, N.Y. before retiring. When he was a youth, he loved playing basketball with his church league and working on the family dairy farm in Hagaman. Jerry was the bowling coach for many years for the Latham Bowl Girls Travel League. He loved spending time with his grandchildren and attending
