Halfmoon man in stable condition after shooting
HALFMOON — A town man is in stable condition after being shot three times late Thursday, Saratoga County sheriff 's officials said Friday.
The sheriff 's office received a call at approximately 11:30 p.m. about a shooting at the Kensington Apartments on Fulham Road in Halfmoon. Deputies found a 28-year-old man with gunshot wounds, in an incident that occurred outside the man's apartment. He was the only one injured and he was taken Albany Medical Center.
The man told investigators that as he was arriving at his apartment he was confronted by several men, a struggle ensued, and he was shot.
The suspects fled in a vehicle before police arrived, officials said.
